Title : An Abundance of Katherines
             Author : John Green
             Publisher : Speak
             Publication Date : September 21, 2006

Description from Goodreads : When it comes to relationships, Colin Singleton's type is girls named Katherine. And when it comes to girls named Katherine, Colin is always getting dumped. Nineteen times, to be exact. On a road trip miles from home, this anagram-happy, washed-up child prodigy has ten thousand dollars in his pocket, a bloodthirsty feral hog on his trail, and an overweight, Judge Judy-loving best friend riding shotgun - but no Katherines. Colin is on a mission to prove The Theorem of Underlying Katherine Predictability, which he hopes will predict the future of any relationship, avenge Dumpees everywhere, and finally win him the girl.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Colin Singleton, used to be a childhood prodigy, obsessed with anagrams, has been dumped by a bunch of girls named Katherine. Not Kate, not Kathleen, and God forbid, Catherine. But Katherine. Recently graduated from high school and being dumped by the 18th Katherine, he set out on a road trip planned by his Judge Judy-lover Muslim best friend, Hassan, to mend his broken heart.

All I can say is I like the style of this book. Though I like Looking for Alaska better,  this one is also a great book by John Green. It was hilarious and at the same time slightly sentimental. There are about 20% of this book contained math equations and graph created by Colin to figure out a theorem for a perfect relationship with a Katherine. Math is not my enemy nor I am the lover of that subject, so I don't hate all the equations and stuff, I actually tried to understand it.

For the record, the not-terrorist Hassan was my favorite character in this book. What's great about John Green is that when he talks or writes about Islam or a Muslim, he's never bias. Hassan was such an amazing and funny character, despite having the same name as my dad.  Things tend to be more interesting when he was around. Although, the characters other than Hassan and Colin were quite dull.

The little footnotes at the bottom of the pages what made the book really unique and fun to read. All in all, this book is worth-reading. I laughed a lot even it contained math equations and all.

"What is the point of being alive if you don't at least try to do something remarkable? How very odd, to believe that God gave you life, and yet not think that life asks more of you than watching TV."
